MEMBERSHIP AND FUNDING
 

 

    We no longer have any dependable funding, but rely on Membership Fees and Donations. Our costs include the rent to St. Barnabas Church, Honoraria, paid termly to the Adminstrator & Assistant, day-to-day operating expenses, and purchasing resources. Audited accounts are available.

 

Our Membership Fees are payable annually in September and are currently :

  • Pre-School/Nursery
  • £20 a year
  • Primary/Special
  • £25 a year
  • Senior Schools & Colleges
  • £30 a year
  • Religious Organisations
  • £30 a year

    There is also a £5 Administration Fee payable on first joining.

        Borrowing of videos, books, artefact boxes, posters etc., is then free. A month or half a term is the usual length of time for which items are loaned.

     

        Non-members are welcome to come and borrow on a one-off basis for a nominal £5 donation with a lending time of no more than two weeks.

     

        Such a membership scheme enables us to continue to update the resources and thus serve your needs as effectively as possible.

     

    New members are welcome throughout the year, although our membership follows the school year and renewal notices are sent out in September and due by the end of November. You may borrow items immediately even if you cannot pay membership monies straight away.
